Baby Shower Ideas

Baby Shower Ideas:
Instead of a Diaper Cake you can create a Bouquet using baby socks to make roses and adding in miscellaneous items for the baby. Use a lower tray basket to add more items.
This theme was Hello Kitty:
Decorate A Frame:
Get plain /acrylic frames & glitter foam stickers (Walmart). Each guest decorates their own frame to take home after the day is done.
This could be a game also. Have the mother/father to-be choose the best decorated frame.
Game: Tear A Baby Profile from Paper
Place paper over head and tear out a profile of a baby girl/boy and mother/father chooses the best profile baby. This should be a timed game.
Game: Rice/Safety Pin Search
Place small (30-50) safety pins in a bowl of rice. Blindfold player and shake bowl to mix pins. Player places found pins in a separate bowl. Player with the most found pins wins. Time game -1minute. (Looks easy, but it is very hard to find the pins!)

Gifts for Baby & Mom:
Buy the flat fold diapers and a t shirt for mom. Use sharpie markers to sign. Each guest signs a message to both. Diapers will be used as burp cloths. Also you may use white onesies, blanket, or white hooded bath towel.

This was a Sunday Brunch:
Food to please each individual taste bud...
Thank You Cards:
Have thank-you cards with envelopes. Each guest signs their address on the envelope upon arrival. Have someone write the gifts received on the back of the card and placed in the envelope with their address. Mother now has her cards/envelopes ready.
This could also be used as a game: First gift opened wins, 15 minutes into opening gift wins, or last gift open wins.

These photos were taken by Jalna (her link to her blog). Awesome photos and a great friend/co-worker! Words cannot express her kindness, thoughtfulness, and Aloha to all around her... Thank you again from deep within...
I enhanced her photos to share my ideas for a fun Baby Shower ...
